Wie pflege ich mein Tattoo?/How do I take the right care of my tattoo?

Nach dem Tätowieren kann die tätowierte Körperstelle brennen und anschwellen. Die Tätowierung wird die ersten Tage einen „Rotstich“ haben, dieser verschwindet aber ganz von selbst. In der Abheilzeit kann das Tattoo jucken, auch das ist normal und legt sich wieder.

Ca. 3 Stunden nach dem Tätowieren entfernen Sie bitte den Verband. Waschen Sie nun die Tätowierung ab, bis das Tattoo frei ist von allen Blut-, Farb- und Salbenresten. Dazu bitte Kernseife in der Hand aufschäumen und das Tattoo mit warmem Wasser einseifen. Anschließend das Tattoo mit klarem Wasser abspülen und mit einem sauberen Handtuch trocken tupfen.

Legen Sie keinen neuen Verband an und benutzen Sie noch KEINE Pflegecreme! Erst am folgenden Tag cremen Sie Ihr Tattoo mit sauberen Fingern zweimal täglich hauchdünn mit Bepanthen Wund- und Heilsalbe oder unserer hauseigenen Tattoocreme ein. Unsere MIA Skin Culture Tattoocreme enthält weniger Öl/Fett als Bepanthen. Dadurch lässt sie sich besser auftragen und hinterlässt einen nicht so starken Fettfilm auf der Haut. Die Haut kann besser "atmen" und abheilen, und die Kleidung klebt nicht so stark am frisch eingecremten Tattoo.

Wenn sich Wundsekret auf dem Tattoo bilden sollte (eventuell am 2. Tag), das Tattoo wieder wie oben beschrieben abwaschen und trocken tupfen. Es wird sich eine dünne Kruste auf dem Tattoo bilden, welche nach ca. 5 Tagen von alleine abblättert.

After having finished the tattoo, the tattooed area can burn and swell. The tattoo will also
have a reddish tinge which will disappear by itself. During the healing process, the tattoo
might itch but this will also go away.
Please take off the band aid approximately 3h after the tattoo had been finished. Wash the
tattoo until it is cleaned from all remains of skin, blood or ointment. Please use curd soap,
foam it in your hands and apply the foam together with warm water on the tattoo. Afterwards,
rinse the tattoo with clear water and speckle it with a clean towel.
Do NOT apply a new band aid and please do NOT use any cosmetic care ointment. Only on
the following day you can apply a thin layer of Bepanthen salve or our own tattoo ointment.

Make sure your fingers and hands are clean and apply the ointment twice a day. Our MIA
Skin Culture Tattoo ointment contains less oils and grease than Bepanthen. Therefore it can
be applied easier and doesn’t leave grease stains. It also helps the skin to heal off better and
“breathe”. Furthermore, your clothes don’t stick too much on the freshly moisturized tattoo.
In case of ichor development on the tattoo (sometimes on the 2nd day) please repeat the
cleansing procedure as described above. The tattoo will develop a thin crust which will peel
off after approx. 5 days.
